Up to 40 students in South Monaghan have been told there is no school bus running from Corduff to Carrickmacross.
A lot of parents are very concerned by this development as they only received the news today. The school year in the area begins this Monday and these families are now in left in limbo.
Meath Fine Gael councillor, Paddy Meade highlighted the issue on the Wider View earlier. He said time was not on these parents side. The North Meath councillor said a number of parents affected by this news were friends of his family.
Paddy says this is now an annual problem and that these local families "deserve better".
