There has 71 applications paid out for EV grants in Co. Cavan this year, up to March 20th.
That's according to the Minister for Transport, Darragh O'Brien, who released the figures this week.
According to the Minister, over €120m has been allocated in 2026 to support the continued transition to electric vehicles.

Last year, 150 grants were paid out in Co. Cavan, an increase from 85 in 2024.
Fleet electrification is expected to continue to provide the greatest share of emissions abatement in the short-to-medium term for the transport sector.
