It’s believed one person has died in a collision in Shercock this evening, with another person believed to be a child has been airlifted to hospital.
Two others have been brought to a hospital locally following the collision.

The two-car collision occurred at Corclare, Shercock this evening and the R162 is currently closed.
It’s expected the road will remain closed overnight as a technical examination gets underway.

R162 shercock/Cootehill rd is also closed at the jct with L7508 Bleach rd which brings you back onto the R178 Carrickmacross rd.
