Just under €40,000 has been earmarked for agricultural shows across Cavan and Monaghan.
The announcement comes from Minister Dara Calleary, who confirmed 126 shows nationwide will benefit from the funding.
This includes over €10,000 allocated to Virginia Agricultural show, while €9,200 will be received by Arva, Castleblayney and Tydavnet shows respectively.
