The number of Gardaí has risen to just under 14,400.
It's after 102 new officers graduated from the Garda Training College in Templemore in Co Tipperary this afternoon.
Six of the 2012 new officers will be allocated to the North Western region, which includes Cavan/Monaghan, alongside Galway, Mayo/Roscommon/Longford, and Donegal/Sligo/Leitrim divisions.

The 64 men and 38 women took part in the first passing out ceremony since February 2020.
