The annual Paul Myles memorial run will return to Cavan Town today.
It will take place from 12 noon at Drumalee Cross.
All proceeds of this year's event will go towards Friends of Cavan Oncology and Cavan Monaghan Palliative Care.
Maud Myles lost her husband Paul 13 years ago following a battle with Motor Neurone Disease and Dementia.
Paul Myles was a well known Garda in the area and was known for his charitable heart and his love for running.
The Myles family has raised €65,000 so far for local charities.
