Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred in Cavan yesterday afternoon.
A man in his 30s has died following the collision involving a tractor.
Shortly before 12:40pm yesterday afternoon, Gardai and emergency services responded to the tractor crash on a local road in Ardkill Beg, Carrickaboy.
The man in his 30s who was driving the tractor was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was removed to Cavan General Hospital and a post-mortem examination is expected to take place in due course.
Garda forensic collision investigators carried out an examination of the scene and Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, and who were travelling in the area between 9am and 12:40pm yesterday afternoon are asked to make it available to Gardai.
