Gardai are appealing for information following two separate burglaries in Co Cavan.
The incidents occurred in the Poles and Cootehill areas.
Gardai are investigating a burglary which occurred in the Poles area of Cavan.
The incident took place on the 22nd of November between the hours of 4pm and 7pm.
The homeowner returned to find a back window broken.
According to Gardai, the bedroom and kitchen were rifled.
Elsewhere, Gardai in Cootehill are investigating a burglary that occurred between the hours of 6pm on 22nd November and 3.30am on the 23rd of November in Dartrey Park.
The homeowner returned to find the home ransacked.
Entry was gained via rear window and a significant amount of cash was taken.
Gardai are appealing for anyone with information who noticed anything suspicious to contact them.
