Gardai have reissued their appeal for information following a number of burglaries which were reported in the Cavan Town area.
According to Gardai, all burglaries took place on the same date of December 11th.
A burglary took place in Glenlara between the hours of 7pm and 8:30pm
A private dwelling was forcibly entered through the rear door and a room in the house was ransacked.
A quantity of cash and a male gold wedding band was stolen.
Elsewhere in the Rocklands area, other burglaries were reported between the hours of 6pm and 9:30pm.
According to Gardai, two properties were broken into via rear doors.
Both properties were completely ransacked with culprits making off with a significant quantity of jewellery.
Gardai believe that the spate of burglaries in Cavan Town are linked to a separate burglary which took place at a home in the Cootehill area on the same day of December 11th.
Garda Lisa Stephens is appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
