Gardai in Co Cavan are appealing for information following a number of car thefts.
The thefts were reported in the Butlersbridge and Cavan Town areas.
Gardai in Co Cavan are investigating a burglary that took place on Main Street, Butlersbridge.
The incident took place between the 11th and 12th of September during the hours of 6pm and 8am.
According to Gardai, the homeowner woke to find the rear door left ajar, on further inspection they realised the keys to their vehicle, a black XF jaguar saloon model registration number 161 CN2721 was stolen.
Gardai are anxious to speak to anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage or who encountered the stolen vehicle on the move.
Elsewhere, Gardai are investigating a burglary which occurred on College Street in Cavan Town.
The incident took place during the early hours of the 21st of September.
Entry was gained via an unsecure door and the keys of motor van 222 KE2352 were taken along with the van.
The vehicle was recovered on the 22nd of September on New Street Castblayney.
Gardai would like to hear from anyone who may recall observing the white Renault master van on the move before being parked up in Castleblayney to get in touch.
