Planning permission has been approved for an extension to Ballyconnell Mixed National School. The plans approved this week will allow for a part single-storey/ part two-storey school block incorporating two mainstream classrooms, an office and one SEN classroom.
Included in the approved plans for the Co Cavan school is to extend the school boundaries to incorporate an multi-use playing area with perimeter fencing. The green light from county planners will also allow for the removal of 2 prefabs, connection to the existing services and all associated site works
Cavan County Council gave the go-ahead to the Ballyconnell school with 10 conditions attached.
