A group of people in Castleblayney have been meeting weekly to practice their Irish language skills.
The 'Ciorcal Comhrá' in the town meets every Wednesday in Castleblayney library at 6pm.
It provides an informal space for people of all ages to practice using the language, regardless of what level of Irish they speak.
The group was set up by local woman, Shauna McMahon three years ago, and said that her Irish has "greatly improved" since it began.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Shauna explained that Irish was her favourite subject in school.
She said the group also provides an opportunity for people to come and meet one another and make new friends.
Shauna said: "I think my Irish has improved greatly. I can see people in the group, they came in and said, 'I've no Irish, I don't think I'll stick around'. They're all flying through it now, and they're teaching me new words.
"Some people are bringing their own friends. We're a small enough town, so they're meeting people they knew slightly, and are becoming more friendly with," she added.
