A book launch is taking in place in Co. Cavan this afternoon.
Dr. Samuel Beckton, a historian from Belfast is launching a new book to commemorate the centenery of the 1925 Boundary Commission.
The book, The Unbroken Convenant: Could Ulster Unionists Have Controlled a Nine-County Northern Ireland, 1920-1945? is launching in Cavan County Museum, Ballyjamesduff at 2pm.

In the book Dr. Beckton asks some what-if questions about how history could have taken a different turn.
Some of the topics touched on will include how an altered timeline might have impacted the border counties.
