A local Monaghan retailer has been presented with a food safety and quality award. Eurospar Carrickmacross joined retailing colleagues from all over Ireland recently to receive their Food Safety & Quality Awards at the Eurospar Supermarkets Retailer Forum.
The standards and hygiene awards have been running for more than 20 years and recognises supermarkets that excel across all areas of food safety. Congratulating retailers on the night, Peter Dwan, Eurospar sales director, said: "The Carrickmacross outlet has once again delivered on their objectives to provide the best retailing experience they can for their customers.
"Their focus on continually exceeding customer expectations is a testament to the hard work of their staff, for which they should be very proud," Mr Dwan added.
