A Cavan auctioneer is expecting land prices to remain stable this year.
Last year, the average price of grassland in Cavan and Monaghan was €8,000 per acre, according to a report by the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers.
Bailieborough auctioneer Peter Murtagh says there was 10 per cent lift in sales last year, which was welcomed after a quiet 2020.

He says that these trends should continue for 2022.
