A Cavan Councillor has called for a meeting with the General Manager and Clinical Lead Manager of the Cavan/ Monaghan Hospital Group.
Shane P O'Reilly raised the issue at the most recent meeting of Cavan County Council.
His comments came as there have been public issues of care and operational procedures at Cavan General Management recently.

Cllr O'Reilly praised the hospital and its staff as second to none, but said overcrowding, staff morale and long wait times are creating unsustainable pressure on frontline workers.
Speaking to Northern Sound he says councillors want an open and constructive discussion with management to explore how they can better support hospital staff and services.
