The man who lost his life following a road traffic collision in Cavan has been named locally as Thomas (Tommy) O'Reilly.
Shortly before 12:40pm on Sunday, Gardaí and emergency services responded to a single vehicle collision involving a tractor on a local road in Ardkill Beg, Carrickaboy, Co. Cavan.
Tommy O'Reilly, who was in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The father of three is sadly missed by his heart broken wife Aimee, his adored daughters; Aoife, Ciara and Maeve, his parents, siblings and extended family.
He will be reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan tomorrow Wednesday from 4.00pm to 8.00pm, with a break from 6.00pm until 6.15pm.
Tommy's requiem Mass will take place on Thursday at 2.00pm in the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, Cavan, Interment afterwards in St Matthews Cemetery, Drumavaddy.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage and were travelling in the area between 9:00am and 12:40pm are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
