Cavan ICMSA are hosting a prices & markets update for local farmers in the Cavan Crystal Hotel this week.
The meeting will be held Thursday evening at 8pm, and will be addressed by Paul Smyth, one of the State’s leading dairy analysts.
It will also be addressed by Eamon Carroll, Deputy President of ICMSA and an authority on animal diseases.

Cavan is a leading milk producer and has always been an influential local executive within the specialist family dairy farm organisation.
Speaking to Northern Sound ahead of the meeting, Shercock farmer Gerry O’Reilly highlighted milk prices.
Gerry outlined that milk price rises are always welcome news for dairy farmers.
