Cavan General Hospital is the best performing hospital in the country when it comes to cancer treatment.
Patients should receive treatment within 15 working days, and the HSE target is to treat 90 per cent of people in that timeframe.
Cavan General is the only hospital in the country that has achieved this target between 2023 and this year according to a Journal.ie investigation.
All other hospitals have missed this target at least once in the past two years.
