A Blacklion native has been giving advice and outling support options for people struggling with eating disorders.
This comes as demand for eating disorder support services in Ireland continues to rise, according to the latest Bodywhys Annual Report.
The report shows that 6,696 people accessed Bodywhys' support services in 2025, while more than 80,000 people have received support from the organisation over the past 30 years.
Bodywhys speaker, and Cavan man, Connor Nolan says increased awareness, the impact of Covid 19 and pressures linked to social media have all contributed to the growing demand for services.
He also stressed the importance of early intervention and encouraged anyone experiencing the warning signs of an eating disorder to seek support as soon as possible.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Connor Nolan explained why raising awareness and providing support is so important.
