A local man has raised concerns about potholes in Co. Cavan.
Martin Hannigan has highlighted the condition of roads in the region, noting several roads with large potholes.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, Mr. Hannigan described the situation as a “national disgrace”.
The Cavan man said he has contacted local representatives about potholes across the region.
Previously, Mr. Hannigan has painted yellow markings around potholes, in order to highlight the severity of the situation.
Mr. Hannigan revealed that he is still painting marking around potholes.
Mr. Hannigan said: "I got a hell of a setback last year, there was lovely weather, a lot of potholes. I was in hospital, but I'm sure the local authority, the council, were delighted. They were wondering, 'Where is Martin? He's not painting'. But I'm back in full steam.
"I arose in my bed at three o clock the other morning, its not every night its dry. I had a lot of people onto me, and I couldn't let them down," he added.
