A Co Cavan man who is accused of murdering his mother and attempting to murder his father is set to go on trial next week.
Danny Heyneman will go on trial at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin on Monday the 13th of April.
The 32 year old with an address at Kilnavart, Ballyconnell in Co Cavan, is charged with the murder of Annie Heyneman and the attempted murder of Henk Heyneman at the family home in Kilnavart on January 11th, 2025.

The accused has been in custody since his arrest in January of 2025 and the matter is listed for trial on April 13th next.
