A Cavan Monaghan TD believes not all the information possessed by the British Government in relation the Dublin-Monaghan bombings has been given to the Irish authorities.
Matt Carthy, who is the Justice Spokesperson for Sinn Fein, was speaking following the publication of The Kenova Final Report which was released yesterday.
The report was a review into the Dublin-Monaghan Bombings which claimed the lives of 34 people, and injured many others.
The review stated that it has not identified any evidence or intelligence which would indicate that British security forces colluded with the UVF to carry out the attacks in Dublin or Monaghan nor has any evidence of state collusion been identified.
Matt Carthy spoke in reaction to the findings, and believes as a first step, the Irish Government should insist that all material and evidence that was examined in the report along with all the relevant information is now made available to them without any further delay.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, Deputy Carthy outlined what he thinks need to be done.
