A Co Cavan mother is continuing her calls for improved disability services across the region.
A protest which will highlight the lack of disability services in Cavan will take place this Saturday at Cavan Courthouse.
This is the seventh such protest in the last year which is being organised by local parents who say they have received little to no support for their children with additional needs.
People from Cavan and Monaghan are being urged to attend.
Serena Dawson, is one of the protest organisers who is calling for urgent change.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Serena said it's not good enough that the most vulnerable in society and their families are struggling on a daily basis.
Serena said parents like herself are not asking for special treatment, all they want is equality and for the needs of children and adults with additional needs to be heard and supported:
