Cavan residents urged to have their say on community safety

The survey is open to all residents aged 12 years and over and can be completed either online or in paper format.

Cavan Local Community Safety Partnership is reaching out to members of the Cavan public on how best to strengthen community safety across the county.

A safety survey will provide the necessary input to deliver its County Cavan Community Safety Plan for 2026-2028.

The body held its inaugural meeting in January, replacing its previously existing joint policing committee as the lead agency charged with enhancing public safety.

The chairperson of the local safety partnership, Cllr John Paul Feeley says this survey is an important step in understanding what matters most to people across the county when it comes to community safety.

The survey is open to all residents aged 12 years and over and can be completed either online or in paper format.

Paper copies are available in all libraries and public buildings throughout county Cavan with the closing date for completed surveys being midnight, Sunday 31st May.
