According to Oliva Larkin, the coalition is behind on 200 classrooms for children with special education and is not willing to fund them.

A Co Monaghan mother and campaigner says children with special needs are "easy targets" when it comes to Government spending.
According to Oliva Larkin, the coalition is behind on 200 classrooms for children with special education and is not willing to fund them.
Olivia warned that hundreds of children who should be going into a special class come September will be unable to so because there is nothing for them, an issue that will impact many families across Co Monaghan, including her own.

She says any child who is ready for secondary school but has no other option but to sit at home is "immoral and illegal."
Speaking to Northern Sound, the local campaigner believes that children with special needs are "easy targets" when a budget needs to be cut:
