Cllr Feeley elected as Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council

The roles were previously held by Fine Gael's TP O'Reilly who was elected Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council for the 2024–2025 term, along with Fianna Fáil Cllr Niall Smith who served as Leas-Chathaoirleach.

Fianna Fáil councillor John Paul Feeley has been selected as Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council.

The new appointment was made during yesterday's sitting of Cavan County Council.

Meanwhile, Fine Gael's Winston Bennett has been appointed as Leas-Cathaoirleach by his fellow elected council members.
