The Clones eircode of H23 records the cheapest median house price in the country at €131,000. And, the region outside of Dublin that saw the largest growth in house prices was the border region of Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim, Louth, Donegal and Sligo at 14.2 per cent.
The data is contained in the Central Statistics Office Residential Property Index for 2024. House prices outside Dublin now 18% higher than they were at the peak of the boom in April 2007.
The most expensive Eircode areas over the past 12 months to December 2024 was A04 Blackrock with a median proce of €730,000.
