Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board has announced the signing of contracts for the construction of a major school expansion project at Beech Hill College, Monaghan.
The new facilities, funded by the Department of Education and Youth will include six general classrooms, four SET rooms, a multimedia room, a construction room with a preparation area, two science laboratories with a preparation area, a three-classroom SEN base and a range of ancillary accommodation.
The contract was signed on Wednesday, 17 September 2025, between CMETB and the appointed contractor, Rodney Brady Contracting Ltd.

The project will now move into the construction phase, with works beginning immediately.
