A Co Cavan man who is accused of murdering his mother and attempting to murder his father is set to be arraigned later this month.
The case is in relation to the charges that Danny Heyneman faces was heard earlier today at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin.
The 32 year old with an address at Kilnavart, Ballyconnell in Co Cavan, is charged with the murder of Annie Heyneman and the attempted murder of Henk Heyneman at the family home in Kilnavart on January 11th, 2025.

The accused has been in custody since his arrest in January of 2025 and the matter was listed for trial today.
Justice Paul McDermott in courtroom no 6 at the Central Criminal Court was told that a report was awaited and that the accused should be in a position to be arraigned on April 27th at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin.
