A completion date of Friday the 31st of May has been confirmed for upgrade works at Hollywood Park. Hollywood Park is one of Monaghan's great outdoor facilities attracting people from all over the region. It is operated by the local community.
The works were grant funded under the Outdoor Recreational Infrastructural Funding scheme and match funding from the Municipal District of Monaghan. Works include new picnic areas, stepped seating area, stepped access points to the lake, new easier accessible path, resurfacing of the existing paths, replacement of all the seating and picnic benches, new interpretation and orientation signage.
