A GP is warning the number of people in hospital with the flu is set to rise.
Over 1 thousand people were in hospital on New Year's Eve, an increase of nearly 500 people compared to the week before.
Monaghan-based GP Illona Duffy says there are huge numbers presenting with flu symptoms. She believes we haven’t hit the peak of flu season yet:
