Locals in Cavan have raised their concerns over capacity issues on the 109X bus service.
Cavan Senator Pauline Tully says she has brought this issue to the fore prior in both the Dail and the Seanad however her calls for a resolution have fallen on deaf ears time and time again.
Senator Tully has been contacted by elderly commuters and those who are travelling to Dublin for work or college who have either been left waiting for long amounts of time or have been left completely stranded altogether.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Senator Tully says the situation could be easily resolved if the will was there.
Despite this, the local representative is hopeful that there is "power in numbers" and has encouraged people to come forward with their concerns and to work together for a resolution:
