A Co Cavan senator has once again highlighted capacity issues on the 109X bus service.
Senator Pauline Tully says the issue is heightened at evening times on return routes to Co Cavan.
The Sinn Fein representative met with officials from Bus Éireann in relation to the concerns that have been relayed to her.
A video uploaded to social media by Senator Tully garnered huge reaction where she called on Cavan bus commuters to make contact with her over the issues that they have experienced.
She says the response to that video shows that commuters want to see the situation resolved once and for all.
Senator Tully also confirmed she would be highlighting these capacity issues with the NTA next week also adding that it was an issue that she would continue to push on in an effort to making a lasting change.
The Cavan Sinn Fein senator says the current situation isn't fair and things need to change surrounding the current service by Bus Éireann.
