The conviction of a Garda for sexual offences is being described as proof that nobody is above the law.
Garda William Ryan was convicted yesterday of the sexual assault and false imprisonment of a woman in Aughrim Garda station in Wicklow four years ago.
The jury took just three and a half hours to find Garda Ryan guilty on all counts.
