A county Cavan man has been showing his support for teachers amid ongoing debates about school holidays.
Tom McNulty, who has three daughter working as teachers, wanted to explain the hard work carried out by teachers.
He outlined the work that goes in to getting a teaching degree, and has seen first-hand the effort teachers put in.

Tom highlighted the additional hours teachers put in outside the classroom, including lesson preparation, school trips, activities and summer programmes.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, Tom outlined that teachers work with what they're given.
