Interest in the housing refurbished scheme, the Croí Cónaithe grant continues to soar in County Monaghan.
Since its launch in July 2022, 419 applications have been received in Monaghan, growing from just 24 in 2022.
152 applications were made in 2024, with 140 submitted during the first nine months of this year.

To date in Monaghan, 300 grants have been approved, totalling €18.57 million, with an average grant of €61,656.
According to Monaghan County Council, over €7 million has already been paid out, helping individuals and families breathe new life into derelict rural homes and disused town buildings.
The local authority says it's proud to support this transformative programme, building a brighter future for communities.
