Four cross-border health projects have received a funding boost of €34.6 million from the EU.
Co-Operation and Working Together - Or CAWT - is a partnership between the health and social care services in the North and the Republic in place since the signing of the Ballyconnell Agreement in 1992.
The money is to be spent on cross-border projects covering adult mental health, children and young people's mental health, frailty and obesity.
Prevention and intervening early is the main focus of CAWT in each of the four areas.
Senator Robbie Gallagher says this is a welcome all island approach funding boost.
