A Tipperary dairy farmer is on a mission to raise money for mental health charities.
John Wallace is undertaking a challenge to walk the entire Beara-Breifne Way from West Cork to Cavan.
John and his family lost their father William to suicide nearly 10 years ago, and this journey is being made in his memory.
The challenge will amount to 550km in just over two weeks, finishing in Blacklion Co. Cavan.
He'll be walking between 30km to 50km a day, unsupported, carrying his own supplies and relying on the kindness of local communities.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, John explained that he's intentionally relying on good-will.
