A decision on a housing development in Cavan town has been put on hold.
Gaeltech Sustainable Living is seeking permission to build 26 homes at Killymooney Lough, however it had been objected to by environmentalists.
Friends of the Irish Environment said it would negatively impact the biodiversity of the area.

A decision on the plans was due this week, but Cavan County Council has paused the application to allow the developer submit additional information on the plans.
