Demolition of Meath home could cost close to €200,000

The demolition of a home in County Meath could cost the local authority close to 200 thousand euro.

The property, which is more than 6,000 square feet, was built without planning permission nearly 20 years ago.

Following a lengthy legal process, the council seized the house earlier this week, with demolition work getting underway yesterday.
