A number of developments to address dereliction on Fermanagh Street in Clones Town has been welcomed locally.
Works are progressing on a planned business hub located on the site of the old cinema.
Cllr Pat Treanor welcomed the progress stating that the old cinema site had become an "eyesore" after lying derelict on the street for around 40 years.
In relation to this project, a contractor been appointed and has undertaken pre-condition surveys of the adjacent properties as well as further trial holes on site.
Cllr Treanor also welcomed new developments planned for the former Paragon Bar site in the town.
Boylesports was given the go-ahead for a new betting shop along with five apartments.
