A progress report on the St Tiernach's quarter regeneration project was presented at this week's sitting of the Ballybay-Clones MD.
At present documents have been prepared to appoint a design consultant to the 664,000 euro project.

Cllr Pat Treanor says the local stadium is in a race against the development of Casement Park.
The project envisions the redevelopment of St. Tiernach's Quarter of Clones town to enhance the built environment and create sustainable economic and employment opportunities, increase social cohesion and reduce deprivation.
The project will also leverage the potential of the town's iconic GAA stadium, adjacent Peace Link and strategic border location.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr Treanor said its "important to present as good of case as possible" in conjunction with Monaghan GAA to retain the bigger games in Clones:
