A number of patients at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda have been informed of mistakes in cancer test results.
The Co Louth hospital says some tests for pre-cancerous cells were miscategorised.
A review into tests is being carried out as part of an 'open disclosure' procedure.
