A major upgrade to the playpark and car parking facilities at Rossmore Park has been announced by local Minister Heather Humphreys.
The announcement is part of an almost €2 million investment to develop projects across Monaghan and Cavan.
Rossmore Forest Park in Monaghan Town is one of twenty-one projects locally that have received funds from the Minister for Rural and Community Development.

According to Monaghan Councillor Paudge Connolly, Minister Heather Humphreys visited the park earlier today to make the funding announcement
Cllr Connolly has described this funding announcement as nothing short of brilliant and will enhance the town park even further.
