That’s according to the Minister for Rural and Community Development, Dara Calleary.
Responding to a parliamentary question from Sinn Féin TD Matt Carthy last week, Minister Calleary revealed that in 2026 Cavan County Council received an allocation of €527,400.
Meanwhile, Monaghan County Council was allocated €385,880.
Since 2017, Monaghan has been allocated €6.9 million under the scheme.
The Minister said the scheme will be closely monitored to ensure funding is fully utilised and that as many roads as possible are completed under the scheme
