Damage was caused to a derelict building in Monaghan Town following a fire on Thursday.
According to Monaghan's Chief Fire Officer, Dermot Brannigan, 2 units of Monaghan Fire Service attended the scene in Coolshannagh, close to the Riverside Apartments.
The fire was brought under control but the fire subsequently re-ignited. It was then extinguished with no injuries reports.
