The family of a girl killed in a crash while on the way to her debs in Monaghan two years ago are appealing the driver's sentence.
Anthony McGinn, who is 62, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing the deaths of Keia McCann and Dlava Mohammed near Clones.
Court was told last month that two surviving passengers gave statements which said they asked Mr McGinn to slow down.
He was sentenced to seven years in prison.
Keia McCann's family has written to the DPP for a review of the sentence arguing it should be stronger.
Frankie and Teresa McCann says the sentence that Mr McGinn was an insult to their family.
