The latest figures have been revealed for jobs in IDA-supported companies, with new details for counties Cavan and Monaghan.
That's according to figures given in response to a parliamentary question asked by Brian Stanley.
Figures published show 1,629 people were employed in IDA-backed firms in Cavan in 2024.
That number fell slightly to 1,557 by the end of 2025.
In Monaghan, 258 IDA supported jobs were recorded in 2024.
That rose very slightly to 265 last year.
Nationally, IDA-supported employment stood at 307,742 in 2024, rising to 312,468 in 2025.
Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Peter Burke says foreign direct investment remains a key driver of regional growth.
He added that the Government's strategy aims to secure further investment and support job creation across the regions, including the Border counties.
