The final phase of a social housing development in Tydavnet has been given the green light. The 8 new houses at Cnoc Na Gréine were recently granted funding.
It makes up the final part of a total of 18 new houses outside the Monaghan village. Local Senator Robbie Gallagher says the funding of almost €2.5 million is very welcome and the new houses are much needed; "It's good news and it's the last phase of an 18 house development of social homes in Cnoc Na Gréine, Tydavnet. Housing is vially important and we need more of it. This is very positive news for Tydavnet village."
